About Us
The Planet Education Society (TPES) is an Autonomous Society Regd. Under the Society Reg. Act.-2006, 058/2013, Govt. of H.P., The objects of the Society are poverty, education. To establish, Cultural, and Social Institutions, to provide or assist in promoting the understanding of history, music, dance, human resource, and other cultural forms of India and conduct or assist in conducting research in these fields, public results thereof. To Spread for promotion of education and learning in all branches more specifically in Managements, Computers, Arts, Literature, Vocational, skill development, Science and Technology, Designing, Electronics, Bio-technology, Beautician Courses, Spoken English , Fashion Designing, Cutting & Tailoring, Interior Decoration, Hair Care, coaching, guidance, counselling, Meditation & Yoga training centres, and other allied fields.
The Planet Education Institute was established in 2013 under the An Autonomous Institute (Establishment & Regulation) Act and is owned by The Planet Education Society (TPES) with the aim to advance and disseminate the knowledge and maintain highest standard of learning through teaching, research, extension education programme and conceptual aspects relevant to the need of the state. The Institute is committed to make all round social transformation through spread of quality education in rural area. Institute is also certified by ISO 9001: 2015 Org. TPSDM is also associated with Directorate of labor and employment Himachal Pradesh under Skill development Allowance Scheme 2013. Our AIMS
By the end of the Plan period,all the youth of the state/Country who cannot complete their education due to any reason (personal can pursue a formal education), would have fair choices to acquire skills that are relevant to the employers,at a reasonable cost and within reasonable distance from their residence and would have the facility to obtain professional counseling in making good choices based upon their interest and aptitude and also employment potential of the skill and would also be facilitated in obtaining placement after acquiring certification.
Our Mission
The Current education system does no focus on training young people in employable skills that can provide them with employment opportunities Today, a large section of India’s labor force has outdated skills With current and expected economic growth, this challenge is going to only increase further, since more than 75 of new job opportunities are expected to be “Skill based Our Mission is To integrate efforts of various departments of the State and Central Government Organizations engaged in providing skill development training and make available employment oriented and placement linked training in vocational skills to 20000 youth in the age group of 18 to 35 years by 2018 22 and even at a greater pace thereafter, by partnering with government and private training providers, while ensuring equitable access to the most disadvantaged, including women and strive for placement of preferably at least 70 of the trained youth in gainful wage and self employment to enable them to contribute to the economic development of the State.
